ASUS S121 netbook leak

ASUS' S121 netbook has been spotted in an advance leak, though any information on specifications is scarce. What is known is that the new product will be based on the existing 10.2-inch S101, which means it will likely use the same 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU. Other specs of the S101 are expected to carry over, including its 1GB of RAM, a draft-N Wi-Fi module, Bluetooth 2.0 and a VGA webcam.

The near two-inch bump in screen size should endow the new netbook with a larger keyboard as well, though this is not confirmed. Whether the S101's solid state drive storage options (a 16GB, 32GB or 64GB solid state drives, along with 30GB of secure online storage) will carry over is another question mark.

A release date and pricing information can likewise only be guessed at, although the photos do appear official and hint at a near-future shipment. Pricing should of course be higher than the S101's $699 suggested retail price, possibly closer to $800. [via SlashGear]
