LG to intro thin LED LCD

Korea's LG says it will unveil the world's slimmest LED-backlit LCD TV at next week's CES show in Las Vegas. While the screen size of the LH95 is unknown, the TV does not get any thicker than 24.8mm, or just under one inch. Also confirmed is that the set will feature an extremely high 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and LG's 240Hz TrueMotion Drive technology, used for better representation of motion.

Little else has been disclosed about the ultra-thin display, although LG says it has already earned a 2009 CES Innovation Award in the Display category. When a version of the LH95 will go on sale has yet to announced, as has its potential pricing. [via AVing]
