iRiver debuts new PMPs, Wave-Home Wi-Fi console

iRiver at CES unveiled its latest multimedia devices including the Wave-Home multimedia device and several portable media players. The Wave-Home interface is displayed on a 7-inch touchscreen that resembles a digital photo frame, but the device also integrates a phone and webcam. A wireless handset fits into the back of the housing for calls made while moving around, or the webcam can be used for video conferencing. Games, weather, news, radio and other widgets are supported.
The Korean company also debuted the E50, a relatively small media player that supports video and music playback. The user interface is presented on a 1.8-inch LCD screen, while the entire front panel serves as a control surface. Users can listen to music andor FM radio, watch videos, or record the FM radio and voice memos, with storage capacities of 2GB or 4GB.
The P7 features a 4.3-inch touchscreen and metal enclosure, with capacities up to 16GB. Functions include audio, video and FM playback, image viewing and voice recording.
The P35 is another portable media player, adding Wi-Fi support and an accelerometer. The device supports music, video, photos, drawing, FM radio, voice recording, Flash games and Office documents. The 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen can be used to navigate the interface, while an analog SPINN wheel can also be used. Capacity options range from 16GB to 32GB.
