BlueAnt intros Q1 handset

BlueAnt at CES introduced its newest Bluetooth headset, the Q1, or what it calls a mix between the existing Z9 and V1. This means users get dual microphones for noise reduction, and the company claims it can cancel out direct 10mph winds. Like the V1, users can control the headset with their voice using the BlueGenie Natural Voice Interface, capable of adjusting volume up and down just by saying "volume up" or "volume down."

The caller ID of incoming calls is spoken to the user, and two phones can be paired up simultaneously, with users being able to answer calls from whatever handset is ringing. The Q1 will automatically pair up with compatible headsets and will reconnect on its own as well. Bluetooth 2.1+EDR is supported, allowing users to listen to music from compatible devices. Maximum talk time is rated at 4 hours, while standby time is fixed at 120 hours.

The headset will be priced at nearly $130 when it is released late in March.
