Motorola clamshell at FCC

Recently discovered FCC filings suggest a new Motorola handset will soon be shipping. The FCC documents reveal the unnamed clamshell will be offered in both a dual-band CDMA version as well as a tri-band CDMA handset with support for the 1,700MHz AWS band used by carriers MetroPCS and Cricket.

Little else is known about the handset, though it has Bluetooth support thanks to the visible indicator light on its front face along with external music controls, so digital music playback functionality is accounted for as well. A speakerphone and a digital camera with an unknown megapixel-count round out the known features.

Neither Motorola nor the two AWS-band carriers have officially announced the handset. [via Phonescoop]
