HP posts Mini 1100 specs
HP is expected to officially announce its range of Mini 1100-series netbooks in the near future as it has already posted specs on the four new models on its website. The 1133CL, 1135NR, 1140NR and 1141NR all share a 10.1-inch display with 1024x576 resolution, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 60GB hard drive and a three-cell battery. The new netbooks allegedly show an ExpressCard/54 slot, while the 1135NR and 1140NR both have a Bluetooth connection.
Graphics processing is handled by an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 processor. Otherwise, each of the products in the new range weighs in at 2.45lbs, and all ship with an external HP webcam.
As the specs indicate the 1141NR ships with a Vivienne Tam sleeve, it is believed that this is the replacement for the current Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam netbook. No pricing information for any of the new netbooks is yet known. [via Engadget]
Update: HP now says there is no ExpressCard slot and that the mention of this in the 1100s is a mistake, though it doesn't deny the existence of the upgraded netbooks.
