Samsung phones leaked

No less than eight new handsets from South Korea's Samsung are expected to make their official debut at Mobile World Congress in Spain in less than two weeks after being spotted on a European site on Tuesday. The highest-featured phone is expected to be the S5050, which is a slider with quad-band GSM/EDGE support. Its 2.2-inch OLED display offers 240x320 resolution and lets users interface with the 3.2-megapixel camera that has an LED flash.

The device will have a Bluetooth 2.0 connection and music functionality, as well as an integrated FM radio. Built-in memory is fixed at 50MB, though a microSD card slot will enhance it up to as much as 8GB.

Next up, the C5212 will offer spots and support for two SIM cards, and again offer GSM voice network and EDGE data compatibility. The 2.2-inch, 176x220 pixel LCD display doubles as the viewfinder for the 1.3-megapixel camera, while Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP lets users connect wireless headphones. The 40MB of integrated memory is supplanted by a microSD card slot.

The S3310 has a 240x320 display of unspecified size, and throws Bluetooth 2.1 into the mix. The 2-megapixel camera is capable of recording video at 30fps, and music files can be stored on the 30MB of memory or on an external microSD card. An FM radio rounds out the known features.

The E2210 is a flip phone with a 1.77-inch internal display good for 128x160 resolution and the same quad-band GSM/EDGE network support as the previous handsets. Known specs include a VGA camera and USB 2.0 support.

Another sneak peek is offered at the Samsung E1360, a slider with only dual-band connections and a 128x160-pixel color super-twist nematic (CSTN) display and an FM radio.

The E1210 is nearly identical in feature-set, though adds a high-capacity 1,000mAh battery.

Finally, the Samsung E1125 and Samsung E1100 are near-twins in anything but their looks, as they both support dual-band GSM networks, have the same 128x128 pixel display and an integrated FM radio.

There is no word on pricing or release information about any of the above handsets from Samsung, though these and more specs are expected to be officially announced at MWC. [via Unwired View]
