Samsung Memoir Leak 2
T-Mobile's version of the Samsung Memoir has had nearly all of its details show early today thanks in part to a preview of the carrier's February Scoop issue by CellPhone Signal as well as specs sent to Unwired View by an anonymous source. The 8-megapixel touchscreen cameraphone is now near-certain to launch on February 25th but now appears limited to EDGE for data, with no mention of HSDPA or UMTS for the 1,700MHz band.
While Wi-Fi is known to be omitted, the phone is still expected to carry GPS despite its absence in a spec sheet; the phone notably has an "advanced responsive touch screen" that suggest Samsung may be using either a capacitive screen with iPhone-like finger input. The device expectedly has music and video players that common formats including H.264.
None of these latest mentions include a price, though a leak earlier has pointed to a relatively steep $300 entry price when on contract.
