MSI NetOn AP1900

MSI has formally announced the Wind NetOn AP1900, the company's first all-in-one to hit the market following the unveiling of the lineup at CES in January. The device features an 18.5-inch WXGA display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, with all components contained in a housing that measures just 35 mm thick. Users can adjust the viewing angle or mount the computer to a wall. The design features a gloss-black bezel around the display along with polished silver trim and accents.

An Intel Atom N270 processor drives the computer, contributing to the low energy consumption that is claimed to draw just 35 watts of power and worthy of an Energy Star rating. Additionally, the fan noise has been reduced to a maximum of 26 decibels.

Video playback is provided by an IntelR GMA950 GPU with 228MB of memory. The standard configuration includes Windows XP Home, a 160GB hard drive, 2GB of DDR2 memory and a DVD burner. The device also integrates a 1.3-megapixel webcam, microphone and dual three-watt speakers.

The company previewed several other models at CES, with future products separated into the Entertainment Series, Aesthetics Collection, Classic Series, Gaming Series and Wind Series. The AP1900 represents the first computer in the Professional Series of all-in-ones devices, although a price or ship date have not yet been announced.
