Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Live

Dell today quickly followed up on yesterday's specs launch with an official website for the Inspiron Mini 10. Besides providing full photos of the 10-inch netbook, the site also confirms options not mentioned earlier such as the eventual ability to upgrade to 2GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive. Dell also now estimates that a 6-cell battery pack will net about 6.5 hours of battery life.

The Intel Atom-based system is Dell's technological showcase for netbooks and includes a multi-touch trackpad, HDMI out and an edge-to-edge design for both the display and keyboard. While not part of the launch lineup, the system will eventually have the choice of a 1366x768 LCD, 3G networking, Bluetooth, GPS and an external DVD drive. Six stock lid colors will be ready for the debut and should be supplemented by more specialized artwork from Tristen Eaton.

Orders start through the website on the 26th, when an entry Mini 10 will sell for $399.
