LG Versa specs revealed
The LG VX9600 Versa handset first leaked at the end of January has now been nearly fully revealed through an equipment guide leak stemming from Engadget, even though the phone itself isn't due to hit the market until March at wireless provider Verizon. The phone is unique in that it features a fully-detachable QWERTY keyboard in addition to a touchscreen and it is now known that it will also accommodate an accessory gaming pad. The Versa sports a 2-megapixel camera with flash and video recording capabilities.
The revealed pages show a slew of accessories for the handset, including cases from Liz Claiborne and Dooney & Burke. Other accessories, including headsets, battery packs and speakers, among others, will also accompany the handset's launch.
When the Versa is expected to launch on March 1st, it will be priced at nearly $200 after a $50 rebate. An 8-way game pad is optional and apparently limited in numbers, with prices set at about $30. A previous report had the Versa launching at Best Buy Mobile on February 22nd, though pricing is unknown.
