Samsung Camera with AMOLED
While Samsung has not made an official announcement, a new camera from the electronics giant has been spotted in an Amazon online listing. Little is known about the TL320 other than that it will be capable of capturing 12-megapixel images and ships with an uncommon 3-inch AMOLED screen with 480x320 resolution; the display would be more color-rich and energy-efficient than LCDs. It also has a wide-angle Schneider-Kreuznach lens with 5x optical zoom, and images are made clearer thanks to both hardware and software image stabilization.
Another original feature of the TL320 is the inclusion of two car-like "fuel" gauges that display the approximate amount of memory space left and battery life. The camera also includes Samsung's Smart shooting mode as well as a Scene shooting mode that both automatically optimize settings for the kind of shooting environment the camera detects.
The TL320 will come in black or silver and is available for pre-order now, priced at nearly $320. [via OLED-info]
