Dell outs 22-inch HD LCD

After releasing pricing information for its Studio XPS 435 desktop PC on Wednesday, Dell has also posted a new monitor ahead of its official release on its Canadian site, the 22-inch SX2210. It should offered as an option for the XPS 435 system as well as by itself. The widescreen display is capable of displaying 1080p images, and claims a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000:1. Other specs include a 2ms pixel response time and 300cd/m2 brightness.

The SX2210's bezel also has an integrated 2-megapixel webcam for video conferencing. The display reveals a lower-cost panel through its relatively narrow 160-degree horizontal and 170-degree vertical viewing angles.

An official release date or price isn't provided on Dell's web page, though the options page for the Studio XPS 435 desktop provides a hint as to what either may be. When purchasing the PC, the SX2210 will be a $280 option with the bundle available for shipping on or near March 20th. [via SlashGear]
