  • ProteMac Meter 2.3 ($30) is a network-traffic logging application that allows users to monitor all Internet and network activity. A stopwatch function can be used to time downloads and calculate average transfer rates. Users can also set alarms that will sound if the bandwidth or time limits have been exceeded by a particular application, or if a desired traffic volume has been reached. The update includes a series of bug fixes and had added a series of Local Connections preference controls. [Download - 5MB]

  • Password Repository 2.7 ($30) allows users to save and manage all of their passwords inside an encrypted document. The information is all stored within a table that can be sorted. Passwords can also be labeled with custom sets of colors to help users sort out related passwords. New to this release is an integrated custom password generator, an improved window layout, an improved toolbar, new interface icons and several bug fixes. [Download - 0.99MB]

  • BetterZip 1.8 ($20) lets users quickly inspect archives without first extracting their contents. Users can add or extract files via drag-and-drop, delete files from archives, rename files, and create new folders inside the archive. Version 1.8 adds support for xar archives, Leopard installer packages, PKWARE compatible AES encrypted zip files, Python eggs, an older rar format, the old tar format and more. [Download - 3.9MB]

  • Live Interior 2.1 ($36) is a home and office interior design application for the Mac. It allows users to view and edit room in either 2D or 3D, perform realistic virtual walkthroughs inside the interior, shoot movies, make screenshots and generate panoramic views of the interior and share it with others. In version 2.1 the alternative shadow rendering mode provides faster shadow performance and the auto-save functionality can help save documents in the case of a crash. The update also includes support for importing and exporting Google SketchUp 7 files and the option to create and customize materials with reflections. [Download - 129MB]

  • PDFpen 4.1 ($50) gives users tools for adding text, images or signatures to PDF files. Text in the original PDF can be be replaced with editable text blocks, images can be moved, resized or deleted and pages can be re-ordered or removed. The update adds a continuous scrolling view that allows users to view and edit multiple PDF pages at the same time. [Download - 12.3MB]
