Verizon Touch Diamond
Specs and photos of the upcoming HTC Touch Diamond for use on Verizon's network were leaked over the weekend. The pre-production handset is indicative of the final model and similar to the reference Diamond design, as it runs on a 528MHz Qualcomm CPU and 128MB of RAM. The 2.8-inch touchscreen has a resolution of 480x640, while a built-in accelerometer will rotate the display as necessary whenever the device's orientation calls for it.
Built-in memory is fixed at 256MB, but a microSD memory card slot behind the battery lets users expand it. Photos and videos can be captured by the integrated 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a GPS sensor are also expected to carry over from the non-Verizon-branded HTC Touch Diamond. The handset will ship with Teeter, a game that uses the accelerometer for control.
Ship dates and pricing information for the HTC Touch Diamond at Verizon are still unknown. [via BGR]
