VUDU adds Pandora support

VUDU has recently announced it has added support for the recommendation-based Internet radio service Pandora. The feature is the first music application available on the VUDU Box and allows on-screen access to the multitude of channels. Multiple user accounts are supported, so each member of the family can log in and access their own favorite presets.

VUDU has recently added support for video-hosting website YouTube as well as photo sites Flickr and Picasa. VUDU has promised it will open its Rich Internet Application platform to developers sometime in 2009, followed shortly by more third-party applications, some of which may be an alternative to the Pandora Internet radio service.
