Sprint handset dates leak
A Friday Engadget report has an apparent image of a Sprint inventory sheet that reveals ship dates and prices for a few previously spotted Sprint handsets. The screen capture reveals the Samsung M810, expected to be called the Dash when it reaches stores, will be available in Graphite and Bronze colors on April 15th at Sprint partner Brightpoint and the 19th at Sprint, with a contract-free price tag of $450.
The Dash would be a touch-screen handset acting as a sleeker, enhanced replacement for the Instinct, and would include a larger 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, an accelerometer, a 240x480 display and EVDO Revision A 3G access.
With an identical release date, the LG Lotus flip-phone in red will become available at the carrier, priced at $300. Another LG handset, the Rumor 2, will arrive at Sprint on April 19th, with Brightpoint receiving the handset on the 15th.
