Samsung handsets leaked
A trio of Samsung smartphones that should be released to market sometime in 2009 have been leaked on the Internet on Thursday, revealing the near-identical S8000 and M8000 as well as the Windows Mobile-based B7300. The twins do not have a physical keyboard save for three buttons at their base and instead rely on touchscreen displays believed to offer 240x400 resolution. Apart from a 5-megapixel autofocus camera that is equipped with a dual-LED flash, no other specs are known about the S8000.
The M8000 adds a 3.5mm headset jack along with a touchpad for reportedly navigating through the music library, though its camera is likely to be less advanced and sports only a single LED flash.
The B7300 will use a Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system paired with the phonemaker's TouchWiz user interface. Features of this phone include a 3-megapixel camera, a mini USB port and a microSD card slot.
There is no word on how much these devices will cost, when they will launch or through which networks, though the B7300's exterior reveals the China Mobile logo on it. [via UnwiredView]
