Bell to get Motorola Hint

First spotted last winter, Motorola's Hint QA30 slider phone with a full QWERTY keyboard is due to be offered exclusively in Canada by provider Bell Mobility starting on April 9th, says a Thursday MobileSyrup note. Pricing will be nearly $330 CAD (about $266) for the handset without a contract, or $280 ($226), $180 ($145) and $130 ($105) when purchased with 1-year, 2-year and 3-year contracts, respectively.

While it may resemble a smartphone, the handset is not as full-featured and instead focuses on quick and easy access to social networks such as Facebook. It does have e-mail and SMS messaging capabilities, as well as a web browser that allows quick scrolling and zooming for browsing pages.

Hardware-wise, the Hint hides a full QWERTY keyboard behind its 2.5-inch, 320x240 touchscreen. There is also a 2-megapixel camera with video recording functionality. A microSDHC memory card slot lets users add as much as 32GB of capacity. There is also a built-in GPS sensor and a Bluetooth connection.

Stateside, the device has been available at Alltel since late November.
