LG mobile TV phone at FCC

The LG GM630 flip-phone seen here was recently spotted undergoing testing at the FCC, indicating the mobile TV-ready handset is soon coming to a North American carrier. Specifications were not made official, but judging by its appearance, it's an updated version of the LG HB620T phone readily available in Europe. As such, the GM630 should sport the same 240x320 resolution main display along with a smaller external screen, as well as a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and FM radio tuner.

Storage is ensured by a microSD card slot, while the main feature is accessed via a dedicated Mobile TV button. While it's not made evident in the filing how digital TV broadcasts will be streamed to the device, the MediaFLO service is the most likely format. There is no official word on a release date or pricing information for the handset, however. [via UnwiredView]
