HTC Magic Euro Pricing

Vodafone's Italian branch today broke silence on pricing for the HTC Magic by updating its product page with official details. The Android smartphone will potentially be free for new subscribers but should cost about 149 Euros ($198) for existing users signing a new contract along with a 9 Euro monthly fee. It should also be available contract-free for 449 Euros ($596).

It's not known if the Italian price will reflect the UK pricing or whether the delay until May in the more northern country also affects mainland Europe. In either circumstance, the Magic will have a 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G data over HSPA, GPS and Wi-Fi. An American version with a 5-megapixel camera is widely anticipated for spring and may be introduced at T-Mobile's April 21st event as the G2. [via Phone Arena]
