Samsung N110 and N120 US

Samsung today confirmed the US launch of two of its new-wave netbooks. The N110 is styled like the company's full-size notebooks and has a 93 percent keyboard. While it has the standard 1.6GHz Atom, 1GB of RAM and 160GB of hard drive space of most 10-inch netbooks, it has a 6-cell battery that the company says provide an extra-long 9 hours of runtime.

The N120 is identical in most respects to the N110 but has a larger-still 97 percent keyboard and a 2.1-channel speaker system for better built-in sound. Battery life drops to a still substantial 6 hours in return for the improved audio.

Both netbooks use Windows XP Home and should be available today at prices of $469 for the N110 and $459 for the N120.
