ASUS Express TV Stick

ASUS on Thursday announced the upcoming release of its Express TV Stick USB tuner that allows Windows PC users to receive digital DVB-T and analog TV broadcasts. The device connects to USB 2.0 ports and automatically installs all the necessary software to allow recording or viewing of digital and analog TV programs. The USB stick has 4GB of onboard memory that contains the software and user interface; it also provides space for the TV recordings or any other files users want to put on the stick.

The Express TV Stick USB 2.0 hybrid tuner works on the DVB-T free-to-air TV system along with Analog TV and is compatible with Microsoft Vista Home Premium, Vista Home Basic, Vista Ultimate and Windows XP platforms. An included Windows Vista Gadget tool allows watching and recording TV via the operating system's Gadget sidebar without interrupting usual tasks.

A remote control, DVB-T antenna AV breakout cable and support CD are included with the ASUS Express TV Stick USB 2.0 hybrid tuner, though no prices or release dates were revealed.
