Nokia preps Star Trek edition 5800 XpressMusic

Nokia has announced a new movie tie-in edition of its 5800 XpressMusic phone. The Star Trek variant is preloaded with four custom screensavers, as well as three new wallpapers, and eight ringtones based on movie sound effects. Also loaded is a Phazer application, which simulates the series' famous guns.
A limited run of the Trek 5800 is set to go on sale through the UK's Phones 4U chain, beginning on May 1st. Blue, red and black colors will be available, and the device should be free under a £25 monthly contract from Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile or O2. It is uncertain if the phone will use the recently-rumored capacitive touchscreen.
