Samsung Tint at MetroPCS

MetroPCS on Tuesday announced it has released the Samsung Tint cellphone on its flat-rate network. The phone ships with interchangeable grey and pink faceplates and customers have the ability to buy more to suit their own personal tastes. The user interface is also customizable, with banner themes, fonts and wallpapers.

The Tint is mostly basic but offers push-to-talk communication over a ChatLINK feature as well as a built-in web browser, e-mail and IM program support. There is also an integrated but unspecified camera (likely VGA), voice dialing and Bluetooth support.

Prices for the handset or actual availability dates have not yet been announced, but both are expected to come soon.
