2nd webOS phone for 2009
Palm is allegedly working on a second webOS-based handset to launch in 2009, an unnamed source told TechCrunch. The company is said to be "very far along" on the Pre-like device that shares the same operating system. Few details were provided, but the dimensions should be smaller than the Pre. It is unknown if the rumored device omits a slide-out keyboard.
If the launch window is true, the device is unlikely to be a second-generation follow up. Recent reports suggest the Pre will ship in early June, while the unannounced device allegedly will be ready as early as the fall.
Most expect Apple to release an updated iPhone at the WWDC event that runs from June 8th to the 12th. A number of rumors claim the company is also working on a variant featuring a smaller form factor, although solid details remain unknown.

Uh-Huh
"Recent reports suggest the Pre will ship in early June..."
Right. And Microsoft will team with Verizon to release a "Phune" before the end of the year. Sure.
Lincoln was absolutely right: You actually CAN fool some of the people all of the time.
