Dell 4310WX projector

Dell has recently began offering its 4310WX DLP projector, which offers a native 1280x800 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. Meant for business or school presentations, the 4310WX has a 3,500 lumens brightness and 2,000:1 contrast ratio. It ships with a remote control that has an integrated laser pointer and lets users select video inputs, adjust the vertical keystone and scroll through pages in a presentation.

There is a relatively wide range of connections, including a VGA input, two component/analog D-sub inputs, an HDMI 1.3 and DisplayPort input and Ethernet jacks for hooking it up to a network. A pair of 5W speakers provides stereo sound, while closed captioning support lets deaf or hard of hearing users follow the dialogue.

From a distance of 33 feet, the 4310WX is capable of throwing up images 358 inches in size. The user-replaceable 280W bulb is rated to last 2,000 hours in regular usage or 2,500 hours in Eco-Mode. A password protection option and Kensington lock slot assure security in the projector.

The Dell 4310WX is now available, priced at $1,099.
