White PS3 Dual Shock in US
A Walmart in Florida may have inadvertently confirmed some of Sony's E3 plans by selling a customer a white Dual Shock 3 controller for the PlayStation 3. Although the white gamepad and its matching PS3 are only available in Japan so far, Joystiq notes that reader Henry was not only able to purchase one but that the packaging had both English and French, suggesting it was packaging intended for either North America or specifically for Canada. Both European and Japanese packaging have different-language boxes.
Despite the evidence, a Sony spokesperson officially denies the white controller and says the company has "no plans" for anything besides black. The company has a history of publicly denying PlayStation-related rumors only to confirm them through official announcements shortly afterwards.
The sale comes just three weeks before the start of E3 and likely hints at a special white PS3 as part of Sony's launch plans.

I imported one
I imported one months ago. The U.S. is always the dumping ground in regards to such electronics. No cool colors or designs here. Grrrr.
