Windows 7 box images real?
CentrumXP has released supposed leaked images of the Windows 7 retail boxes, according to ars technica. The boxes appear to be a combination of XP and Vista boxes, an indication of Microsoft's aim to make Windows 7 a culmination of the best parts of its predecessors.
There has been speculation about the validity of the leaked images. Some people believe the packaging images are too "busy" -- having too much text on the box to have been designed by Microsoft. Other speculators believe the Windows 7 logo is too exact to have been faked.
Photographs from the Windows 7 RC event in China last week indicate the box images could be based on Windows 7 logos, but altered slightly. ars technica speculates that if theses images are impostors, the person responsible has invested a large amount of research to ensure the Windows 7 art matches genuine promotional materials previously presented by Microsoft.
Microsoft has yet to comment about the validity of the images. The company plans to release Windows 7 before 2010.

OMG!
Just another example of MS copying apple. Now the press is speculating about product images and whether they're real.
