TRENDnet unveils 802.11n WiFi security camera

TV-IP512WN camera released


TRENDnet has announced its newest addition to the Wireless IPView Camera Series, the Wireless N IP Camera, also known as the TV-IP512WN. The camera is intended for security purposes, allowing two-way audio and video streaming over the internet. The TV-IP512WN features 300MBps wireless N technology, improving the bandwidth and giving the camera a wide range of capabilities.

Users can view and control the camera from any internet connection, with the recorded audio and video saved using storage allocation tools included in the package. The included management software enables up to 32 TRENDnet cameras to be controlled by one user. The camera comes a removable CS lens and features up to 16x digital zoom. The TV-IP512WN has a built-in SD card slot to store images directly on a users memory card.

The camera will be released for shipping in the next few days at a cost of $250.
