Unlocked HTC Touch Pro2 now available in the UK

Unlocked HTC Touch Pro2
UK online retailer DeviceWire is now offering an unlocked version of the HTC Touch Pro2 smartphone. When the page was first put up, 50 examples of the handset were reportedly available. The Touch Pro2 has a QWERTY keyboard along with a 3.6-inch, 480x800 resolution touchscreen. There is quad-band GPRS voice network and EDGE/HSPA data network support, along with an integrated GPS sensor, a Wi-Fi radio and Bluetooth functionality.
Otherwise, there is a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, a microSDHC card slot, and an FM tuner with RDS. Brainpower comes in the form of Qualcomm's 528MHz CPU. HTC's Straight Talk speakerphone and conference system rounds out the key specs.
DeviceWire has priced the unlocked HTC Touch Pro2 at the equivalent of $707. Stateside, the handset is coming to Sprint and T-Mobile, though subsidized pricing is unknown. [via CoolSmartphone]
