MSI WindBOX DE200 spotted
A new version of the MSI WindBOX nettop PC, the DE200, was spotted in Europe recently. The main and most significant change of the DE200 from lesser WindBOX nettops is its use of an ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics card with a dedicated 512MB of RAM instead of the integrated Intel GMA 950 chipset. Otherwise, the new WindBOX shares the same 1.6GHz Intel Atom 230 CPU, 1GB of RAM and Wi-Fi.
A 3.5-inch, 160GB hard drive is preloaded with Windows XP Home, while an HDMI and VGA video output let users integrated the PC into their home entertainment systems. The small form factor, low-energy PC is due to compete with the ASUS Eee Box, and just like those PCs, can be mounted on the back of LCD monitors thanks to its VESA mount compatibility. There is no fan for quiet operation and less power drain, and the case doubles as the heatsink.
Pricing or release information for the WindBOX range is still unknown. [via Eeepc.de]
