Mobinnova élan netbook

Mobinnova has announced the élan, a netbook based on one of NVIDIA's fledgling Tegra processors. The system features an 8.9-inch display, which in combination with the Tegra chip is capable of 720p video as well as accelerated Flash content. 3G and Wi-Fi connections are built in, along with a webcam with unspecified resolution. The exact model of Tegra is also unknown.

The computer should however support up to 5 to 10 hours of continuous video, or 24 days of continuous audio, though the latter figure assumes the display is shut off. Mobinnova has also disclosed preliminary details on another Tegra netbook, the T8, which will sport a 10.1-inch touchscreen and GPS reception, as well as HDMI and VGA output. Prices and release dates are not available for either netbook.
