US Cellular adds Samsung i220 handset

Ahead of any sort of official announcement, the Samsung Code i220 handset has appeared on wireless provider US Cellular's website. The spec sheet reveals the Code runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and sports a full QWERTY keyboard along with a 320x240 resolution display. The dual-band CDMA handset pulls its 3G data over the provider's EVDO network.

There is a 2-megapixel camera that can record videos, with internal memory set at 128MB. A microSD memory card slot lets user add as much as 32GB of storage capacity. There is Bluetooth 2.0 compatibility as well as support for common music and video formats, including AAC and H.264. Battery life for calling is rated at six hours. Pricing information and a release date have not been revealed for the Code. [via BGR]
