Samsung Mantra at Virgin

Samsung on Thursday said its Mantra flip phone is now available at wireless provider Virgin Mobile. The entry-level dual color screen handset is available on both pay-as-you-go and monthly plans. It sports a VGA camera, Bluetooth, a speakerphone and 8MB of user memory. A web browser is built-in, and users can download real music ringtones.

Via Virgin's data plans, users can access or upload photos they capture to Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket and Flickr. The battery life is rated at 5.5 hours of talk time and 12.5 days of standby time. The Mantra is available at Virgin now, priced at $60. Later this summer, the handset will be offered at Best Buy, Walmart, Target and RadioShack.
