Samsung Louvre specs

The previously leaked Samsung B7610 Louvre smartphone has recently received unofficial specs ahead of an upcoming release. It will sport a 3.5-inch AMOLED screen with 800x480 resolution and access to HSDPA 3G networks, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and assisted GPS functionality. Instead of the previously expected 3.2-megapixel camera, there is a 5-megapixel flash-less shooter, and Samsung has switched from its proprietary port to a miniUSB connection.

The quad-band GSM handset will have 1GB of integrated memory and a microSDHC slot. The TouchWiz interface will control Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, which will be upgradeable to WM 6.5. An FM radio with RDS is built-in, as is an accelerometer for changing the screen orientation. A 1,500mAh lithium-ion battery will power the device.

While official release dates are unknown, the Louvre is expected to be released in July in the UK on Orange Business and SFR Business Team. A North American release is tentatively due for September. Subsidized pricing estimations for the handset are between $350 and $700. [via WMPowerUser]
