Hannspree 25-inch HDTV
Hannspree on Monday announced it has brought its 25-inch ST251MKB 1080p LCD HDTV set to the US market. The set is the first and smallest in the new ST series, which designates mainstream, budget digital TVs. Capable of supporting 1080p resolution, the ST251MKB also sports a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 2ms response time. Brightness is rated at 300cd/m2 while the dynamic contrast ratio is 10,000:1.
The viewing angle is set at 170 degrees from horizontal and 160 degrees from vertical. The built-in tuners include ATSC, NTSC and Clear QAM. There are two HDMI inputs, one component, one S-Video, one VGA and one PC audio jack. There is a headphone output and two 10W speakers.
All ST series televisions ship with a 6-foot HDMI cable and universal remote control. The 25-inch ST251MKB is only available at Costco and sells for $400.

I went to my local Costco and they had never heard of this brand. Hey, wait a minute - I haven't either. Anyone know anything about this company? Where are they from, for example.
The specs on this unit look pretty nice, but I just popped a 24" Samsung with similar specs up on the wall :(.
One last thing - the current online price is 299.99
