T-Mobile preps swath of myTouch 3G accessories

T-Mobile has just announced a range of accessories will be available for the upcoming myTouch 3G handset, which was made available for preorders earlier today. These include the ubiquitous soft pouches in a variety of colors, belt-clip holsters, wrist straps and gel skins, as well as more functional hardware that comprises of a battery extender and a docking station.
The battery extender is not limited to the myTouch 3G, as it's said to be compatible with most HTC phones, connecting to the devices via Apple's ExtUSB port. It provides users with 50 percent more talk time than the standard battery. The docking station connects in the same fashion, but adds a microphone and a speakerphone along with a 3.5mm headphone jack for the sound input and output from the handset.
Pricing for any of these accessories has not been released, though they are likely to be available at the same time as the handset, or August 5th. [via Gizmodo]
