As promised, the 8.9-inch ASUS Eee PC T91 is now available for purchase via Amazon. The long-awaited netbook tablet is the standard, lowest spec version of at least three available configurations, and includes Intel's 1.33GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 16GB solid state drive, 16GB SD card and 20GB of online storage free of charge for a limited time.
The T91 will ship with Windows XP Home, which can be navigated using ASUS' TouchSuite touch user interface. Amazon will ship the T91 with a protective sleeve. The netbook weighs about 4lbs.
There is no word on when the other versions of the netbook tablet will ship, though at least one of them, the T91A, will not arrive until the release of Windows 7, with which it will come preloaded. The T91A will also support multi-touch inputs. [via NetbookReviews]
