Nikon D300s images surface

Additional images have surfaced that allegedly show the rumored Nikon D300s. The photos, posted by Nikon Rumors, show actual pictures of the device, adding additional evidence beyond the leaked renderings that are typically used for press photos or marketing materials. The camera closely matches the D300, but with holes for a microphone.

Rumors suggest the D300s will support 720p video recording, along with an quiet shutter option. The camera is also said to get an SD card option, while continuous shooting may be upgraded to allow up to eight frames per second.

Nikon has yet to confirm the rumored specs or images, while pricing and launch dates also remain unknown.
