Photos of LG Chocolate

Some information and unofficial photos of the LG Chocolate BL40 handset were unveiled via a German blog recently, which coincides with the earlier reports. The news corroborates stories that the Black Label series device will sport a 21:9 cinema format display with an 800x345 resolution on its 4-inch display. Navigation will be done via LG's S-Class user interface.

Otherwise, the handset's reported features in both cases include high-speed UMTS/HSDPA network access, a GPS sensor, and integrated Wi-Fi. New tidbits of info include the inclusion of a 5-megapixel camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens and LED light, as well as an FM transmitter. Free internal storage is limited to approximately 335MB, and is likely to be supplemented by a microSDHC card slot.

The leaked images even show the size difference between the BL40 and its smaller, cheaper brother, the BL42, shown earlier today.

Unfortunately, there is still no indication of when the device will make it to stores, or what it will cost.
