FLV converter ships
Pavtube Studio has launched Pavtube FLV Converter for Mac 1.0, allowing for Flash video conversion to a variety of other video formats. The new converter works with FLV and F4V flash movies, converting them into iPod, iPhone, mobile phone and Apple TV capable formats like MP4, 3GP, MOV, MKV and MP3, among others.
Version 1.0 includes editing functions to allow for merging, trimming and cropping the video. It can also capture still images from the video and add watermarks. Users can change the video bit rate, size and frame rate for a desired quality or compression.
Pavtube FLV Converter for Mac 1.0 requires a 1GHz processor and Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. It is now available for $30.

QuickTime Pro & Perian
Just install QuickTime Pro & the free plug-in Perian. Then you can play and save FLV files.
I wouldn't touch this application with a barge poll let alone pay $30 for it. What's with the Sesame Street design? Looks like an XP application to me.
