Razer intros Orochi mouse

Razer on Thursday introduced its latest gaming mouse, the Orochi. One of the company's first real notebook mice, it communicates over Bluetooth 2.0 but sports a very high-sensitivity 4,000dpi optical sensor. The design is ambidextrous, and a 3-foot cord is included in case the two AA batteries lose their charge. There are seven programmable buttons, with their custom functions saved in built-in memory.

A carrying case is included, and the Orochi mouse is priced at about $80. While it is available for pre-order now, it should ship in about 3 or 4 weeks.

    Rock On!

I currently have a Lachesis, and had a Copperhead before it. In both cases I was able to really use these mice with OS X by using SteerMouse.. all buttons programmed with no problem. Granted I can't use the onboard memory given how SteerMouse works, but it's better than using some other mouse. I don't even play games that much anymore, if anything they're great for everyday, design, precise, etc. jobs.
