Nikon D300s images surface

The yet unannounced Nikon D300s is expected to be announced at press conferences this week, while additional live images have surfaced. The latest photo, posted on NikonRumors, was allegedly taken at a Nikon Club event in the Philippines. Holes for the microphone appear to match the previous leaks of alleged press renderings.

The new dSLR is said to be an update to the company's current D300 model, but with several new features such as 720p video recording and a quiet shutter option. If the leaked specs are true, the device will also support the SD memory card format.

Nikon has not yet announced the D300s, although reports suggest the device is set to be introduced at press conferences on July 29th in the UK or on July 30th in Sweden.
