HP 2709m
HP late Thursday introduced its largest-ever mainstream computer LCD, the 2709m. Seen partly as a TV crossover, the 27-inch panel puts out a native 1080p picture and has an HDMI input alongside DVI and VGA to support video from movie readers and other home theater equipment. It's also claimed to have a vivid picture with anti-glare treatment and a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
The display builds in a 4W speaker system to produce audio and can tilt, but not rotate. HP ships displays today for $500. [via Crave]

How big?
I thought it was 2 709 metres. That would be big. Maybe Al Gore could use it.
