Motorola A3300 in China

A new full touchscreen handset from Motorola was spotted in China recently, with the photos revealing it will be based on the Windows Mobile operating system, as one of the images clearly shows a Windows key. Specs on the A3300 are thin, but the device will sport a large touchsccreen, along with some touch-sensitive buttons at its base, reminiscent of the Samsung Instinct.

The only other piece of information revealed by the photos is that the A3300 sports a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash. It is unlikely the device will make it to the North American market, but release dates for other markets are likewise not confirmed.

In the past, touchscreen phones from Motorola slated for Asian markets have usually been non-smartphone devices using a custom operating system. [via BGR]
