AgfaPhoto intros cameras
AgfaPhoto recently announced the upcoming release of three new digital cameras, the Optima 1, Optima 102 and Optima 100. The Optima 1 sports a 12-megapixel sensor and can capture 1080p in addition to its full resolutionn. Users can choose from 28 different program functions that include face, smile and blink recognition. There is a 5x wide angle zoom lens that translates to a 35mm equivalent focal length of 28-140mm. A 2.7-inch LCD is used to frame photos or review existing photos and videos.
Users are able to record voice memos associated with every photo, while a beauty mode will smooth out skin imperfections and add a soft color tone to faces. Light sensitivity is limited to ISO 3,200, however. The only available color is titanium.
The Optima 102 also has a 12-megapixel sensor and 28 shooting modes. There is a 3x optical zoom, while shots are framed with a 3-inch display. There is a YouTube video recording format, and otherwise the same ISO 3,200 setting, skin touch-up function and the speech memo function. Available colors include titanium, red, pink, silver or black.
The Optima 100 shares the same number of shooting modes and the 102's 3x optical zoom, but a smaller 10-megapixel sensor. A 2.7-inch LCD is on the backside, and the remaining features are otherwise shared with the Optima 102. Color choices include titanium, red, pink, silver, or black.
All three new Optima cameras from AgfaPhoto will be available in September, with the Optima 1 priced at the equivalent of $254, the Optima 102 at $212 and the Optima 100 at $183, all tax inclusive. [via LetsGoDigital]
