Archos Clipper MP3 player
Archos has recently put up a product page for its entry-level Clipper MP3 player, which is due to compete with the iPod Shuffle. The device integrates 2GB of flash memory, with no way to expand it. File support is limited to MP3 and WMA music, with a claimed battery life of 11 hours.
Like in the Shuffle, there is no display and just the rudimentary controls. It connects to Windows, Mac, or Linux computers via a USB 2.0 cable.
In the UK, the Clipper sells for the equivalent of about $33, but there is still no word on when or if Archos will bring the device to North America.[via DAPReview]
