Nokia 5530 XM pre-orders
Nokia is now offering its entry-level XpressMusic handset, the 5530 XM for pre-orders on its website. Introduced in mid-June, the phone retains the Symbian S60 operating system like the original 5800 XM. It has a 2.9-inch, 640x360 resolution touchscreen display and uses Wi-Fi as well as EDGE for connecting to the Internet instead of a faster 3G network connection to keep its price down. There is also no GPS receiver.
The same 3.2-megapixel camera as in the 5800 XM is used, and the bundled microSDHC card is 2GB instead of the 5800 XM's 8GB card. The unlocked handset can be ordered in white or black, with pricing set at $290. Those who preorder will also get Nokia's MD-8 speaker set free of charge. The unlocked 5530 XM can be used at carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile and Rogers as it has 850MHz support.

The 5530 XpressMusic does not offer 3G connectivity, but is equipped with Wi-Fi. While not as high-end as the 5800, this device comes with a 3.2MP camera with LED flash, 3.5 mm audio jack, and a touchscreen display offering resolution of 640×360.
