ASUS Eee Top ET20 and ET22

ASUS today catered to the US with three new Eee Top all-in-ones. The regular ET2002 and touchscreen ET2002T are the first of the systems to use NVIDIA's Ion hybrid graphics and system controller and consequently have much better graphics performance than Intel's own parts without the cost of a dedicated chipset. Both 20-inch units also break out of nettop limits with dual-core 1.6GHz Atom processors, 2GB of RAM, 320GB hard drives and DVD burners in addition to the usual 802.11n Wi-Fi and webcams.

One larger model, the 22-inch ET2203T, again comes with a touchscreen but is given a much faster still Radeon HD 4570 graphics chipset to decode HD video. It also gets one of two Core 2 Duo notebook processors and appropriately has the option of a Blu-ray drive for HD movies. Hard drives mostly stay the same with the option of a 500GB disk, but the ET2203T comes with 4GB of RAM by default.

In characteristic ASUS fashion, neither system has an official price or ship date in the launch, though it's unlikely either size Eee Top will cost more than $1,000.
